You can get to Balatonszentgyorgy from Budapest on highway M7, then turn to the direction of Keszthely-Heviz.

By bus: You can get from 'Budapest-Nepliget' bus-station directly to Heviz within 3,5 or 4 hours.
By train: You can take a train to Keszthely either from Budapest Eastern Train station (’Keleti palyaudvar’) or from Budapest Southern Train station (’Deli palyaudvar’). It takes about 3,5-4,5 hours. Then you should take a bus from Keszthely which gets to Heviz within 15-20 minutes.
