Acupressure

Acupressure is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique. The doctor applies physical pressure and massage to acupuncture points of the body without needles. Acupressure is applied when restoring the energy balance of the body.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique. Inserting needles made of medicinal gold, silver or stainless metal is applied to acupuncture points of the body.  It can be used effectively for migraine, diet, joint pain and dyspepsia.  Side-effects are not known.

Algae pack

A warm compress is made from a mix of algae and then placed on the body and left for a short while. Algae packs are often used as part of Thalasso therapy; thanks to their high mineral concentrations they can effectively assist in skin regeneration and revitalizing the metabolism. Among the many algae some are effective as anti-bacterial agents and others as treatment against rheumatism. Specialist advice should be sought in order to achieve optimal results.

Apricot kernel oil

Coming from the apricot core and not from the fruit; it is obtained by squeezing and refining the fat oil from the kernel after opening the external stone of the fruit. It is recommended for all skin types, especially for dry and sensitive skin disposed for inflammation. It is also suggested for preventing the early aging of the skin. It is also light massage oil, but can be used together with other essential oils, too.

Aroma cabin

Applying of essential oils in cabins of different temperatures and humidity. Excellent relaxing and anti-stress effects.

Aroma therapy

Aroma therapy is a traditional medicinal treatment, where essential oils are widely used. Therapy forms include inhalation, bathing in essential oils and massaging oils into the skin. It can be useful in treating physical and mental complaints. Some of the oils applied are known from their mood improving effects.

Ayurveda

The therapy originates from India. Regular practice is essential, combined with other exercises meditation, diet and massage in order to establish and maintain harmony between body, spirit and the mental state. Natural raw materials are used, such as herbs.

Medicinal bath and drinking cure, mud treatments.

Basalt stone massage

Therapy applying cold and heated basalt stones, when the patient lying prone and smooth, flat heated stones are placed on key energy points on the guest’s oiled body. The massage therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body by alternate pressure and softly rolling the stones on the back and the legs. It improves blood circulation, relaxes the muscles and joints and calms the nervous system.

Bio-sauna

Bio-saunas generate a very pleasant climate at 40-50° C; with the humidity of 20-40%. It is applied together with different supplementary therapies such as color therapy and essential oils. Therapy refreshes the body and can have a relaxing effect or a rejuvenating effect.
